well shirt and pants is hard to design, hair color was just something i decided, and skin color isn't easy to find. Why, are you those: "hey no recolor edit sprites allowed" people? Plus there isn't a sprite sheet of code monkeys anywhere, so this is custom made. But if i wanted to could make a sprite sheet, but too much work and too many character movements, not on what i made but the actual characters yeah...
yeah from scratch, and actually was a pain, because a couple of times screw up the design and still do for other types of character movement or actions...
